What if you could have fun and learn a new parenting skill at the same time?

Maybe you're too overwhelmed and just need connection with other parents who totally get it?

Parent Play Workshop
Parents leave your kids at home! This interactive workshop is just for you to connect to your inner child, with other parents, and deepen the bond between you and your child(s)!

Using the transformative power of play rooted in Child-Parent Relationship Therapy and Drama Therapy, this experience will teach parents to connect with their children by stepping into their world. Play is the language of children, and toys are their words—this workshop empowers parents to engage in 30-minute special playtime sessions to foster trust, joy, and emotional connection.

Parents will learn practical tools such as reflective listening, choice-giving, and effective limit-setting to make their children feel seen, heard, and valued. Through movement, games, and role-play exercises, participants will explore their strengths as caregivers while identifying areas for growth. The workshop also incorporates sensory play and creative activities to encourage spontaneity, trust, and fun.

This workshop is led by Hannah Rudsten (LMFT 134753) and Jordana de-Lory (AMFT 125349, RDT).
